Studio Maternity Portraits
I am so lucky to have such a beautiful family working with me on building examples for the baby’s first year package! We are starting at the beginning, before he is born, and by the end of the year we’ll have a fabulous range of photography to illustrate the beauty of this journey. What to Wear for a Successful Portrait Session
Many people ask me what to wear to their portrait session. Here are a few hints but just remember, the most important thing is to feel good in what you are wearing, because wearing something that feels inauthentic results in photos where you look like you feel inauthentic… and what’s the point of a portrait other than to capture you or your child as you are!
New Year Maternity Session
I love doing these late-term pregnancy pictures, because I know they will be so fun to look back on, and share with the child in a few years. You can point to your belly and say “that was you!”.

Holiday Party Photo Booth Mania!
I had a great job this past weekend at a holiday party. The hostess said “I just want some fun pictures”, so I suggested setting up a sort of photo booth in the basement. I brought lights and encouraged people to have fun with it, and the results are some really spectacular photographs that are not at all your typical party candids!

Senior Portraits in the Studio
It’s so much fun, and such a challenge, to meet a young person and in 10-15 minutes deduce who they are, who they want to portray themselves as, and build enough rapport that they trust you not to embarrass them.
