Tips For Shooting Rainy Weddings
Who says a little rain will ruin your wedding day? This is Oregon! At this wedding we saw it all. Glorious sunshine, light drizzle, torrential downpours, and even hail! Here’s some advice on how to handle a rainy wedding:
Rockin’ Through the Ages
Back in March I went to Southern California to shoot a Sadie Hawkins Dance with Jonah Gilmore. The theme of this dance was Rockin’ through the ages, so each couple was dressed up as though they were from an era of rock and roll. We had everything from flappers to hippies to 80’s hair bands!
Holiday Party Photo Booth Mania!
I had a great job this past weekend at a holiday party. The hostess said “I just want some fun pictures”, so I suggested setting up a sort of photo booth in the basement. I brought lights and encouraged people to have fun with it, and the results are some really spectacular photographs that are not at all your typical party candids!
Will He Ask Me?
I don’t do a lot of large events, but I’ve been working with Jonah Gilmore of Rocket Science Photography on some high school dances this year, and it’s been a whole lot of fun!
