I’m so glad I got the chance to explore the park, it offered such a variety of backdrops and they were all perfect for the subject, who is a life coach. She was thrilled to have her photos against a natural background and I was thrilled to get that idyllic bokeh from the marsh reeds and spring leaves all around us. I think this might become a staple for Portland portrait sessions!

It was such a fun challenge, since I wasn’t sure where the boundaries were for her on the traditional and unconventional ends of things, so I took all kinds of different photos!  It turned out that she was down for all kinds of different things and as a result the session was stunningly sucessful!  I love the textures and backgrounds that her plants offered.  Thanks so much, Molly!
